Spring! Anything But A Card

This fortnight our die cut challenge at Cut It Up is "Spring/Anything but a Card."  I created this layout of my daughter with pictures from 2006.  She decided that Pull-Ups make a nice hat!  My die cut is the Papertrey Ink tag I used to journal.
Enter your Spring layout or project, include a die cut, and you could win cutting files by Designs by Cloud 9.

Here is my companion page...my daughter thought it was fun to empty her dresser of all of her pajamas and bunny slippers and create a tower of sleepwear.  Luckily this stage didn't last very long!

Doodlebug Happy Go Lucky - 1 sheet, 9 cards!

I am crafting again!  On Saturday I attended an annual crop for a local elementary school.  This was my third year attending.  It is a fabulous crop; all food and prizes are donated.  For $50 all meals, snacks, drinks are provided for this 12-hour fun-filled craft day.  Almost everyone leaves with a prize; I won a beautiful pottery bowl from a local pottery shop and an iris container full of 12x12 scrapbooking papers and embellishments.

Last week I purchased this one 12x12 sheet of Doodlebug "Happy Go Lucky" paper.  I trimmed most of the 4x4 squares and matted on either card stock or a square of Doodlebug "Santa Express" (first two cards.)  On three of them I added a stamped sentiment, "I'm so lucky to have you."  I mounted each on 4.25x4.25 white card bases and added pearls, gems, and sequins to seven of the cards.  On one I only added faux white stitching (the colorful shamrocks; middle row/far right) and on the last card I added black rub-ons from the current March 2015 Simon Says Stamp card kit.

Now to come up with Easter card ideas...

Happy Tuesday!

Cards with a Moving Component Die Cut challenge

It's time to Cut It Up again and our sponsors for this challenge are Fleurette Bloom and As Cute as a Button.  All three of the papers I used are digital papers from Fleurette Bloom's "Ships Ahoy" collection.  Aren't these papers fabulous?  I adore those red dots and the anchors.  My sentiment is "Hope Anchors" by Neat and Tangled.
For this Windy challenge there must be a moving component, and mine is the action wobble anchor embellishment:
Enter at Cut It Up by March 18th for a chance to win a $10 gift card to Fleurette Bloom and a $20 coupon code to As Cute as a Button.

Happy Friday!
