My Pink Stamper - Teacher gifts

Some of my favorite things...making gifts for my girls' teachers, My Pink Stamper stamps, and using my paper scraps.  I feel like I have really neglected showing appreciation for my daughters' teachers this year.  I did not make them any gifts for Valentine's Day, but I hope to make it up to them for teacher appreciation week.  This is a start!  I used My Pink Stamper "School Days" stamp set:

If you are looking for teacher gift ideas, check out today's post on Robyn's blog.  Lots of great inspiration in one spot!

Supplies:
sentiment stamp:  My Pink Stamper "School Days"
paper:  BasicGrey "June Bug"
Cricut cartridge:  "Plantin Schoolbook" circles (test tube holes) cut @ 1"; apple cut @ 3"
ribbons:  My Mind's Eye Lush 2 Navy trims; baker's twine (manufacturer unknown)
ink:  Impress "Indigo Blue"
adhesive:  Glue Arts ribbon adhesive, ATG adhesive, and foam tape
candy:  Skittles

Shop Pumpkin Spice for Miss Caroline by My Mind's Eye

"It's a beautiful day" may seem an odd sentiment to go with an umbrella, but both my husband and I love rain storms.  My dear friend and DT sister, Courtney Lee (Court's Crafts) also loves a rainy day, so I know my dh & I are not the only ones who enjoy them :)

Court has inspired me in so many ways during the past two years.  It was she who inspired me with her Cricut cards, uses of the i-rock tool by Imaginisce, and her My Mind's Eye cards/LOs/projects.  Court also was the one to tell me about the great prices at Shop Pumpkin Spice, where I purchased the My Mind's Eye papers, twine, sentiment sticker, and i-rock to create this card.

My Mind's Eye has been a long-time favorite for me, but right now this Miss Caroline line is all I want to play with.  Court made an adorable card (click to see it!) last August using this same umbrella cut and My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two papers.  The umbrella cut is from the Cricut "Cake Basics" cartridge which is not available for purchase because it comes with the Cricut Cake machine.  Yep, I purchased a Cricut Cake machine for the sole purpose of owning this cartridge.  I had to have this umbrella!  Truly, it is a terrific cartridge and I think this will rival both "Plantin Schoolbook" and "Accent Essentials" as my most used cartridge.  Thanks, Court!

Our move is going well, though slower than I anticipated.  If all goes well, I should be unpacking my craft room while you are reading this post.  I have made only two cards since the move and it has been challenging trying to find coordinating card stock and embellishments, but at least I was able to play with some *new* My Mind's Eye papers!

Supplies (with links embedded):
paper:  My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline "Dilly Dally"; grey card stock from my scraps; white card stock
mirror gems:  i-rock glam rocks
layered sticker sentiment:  My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two
twine:  My Mind's Eye Out of the Blue "Playful"
raindrops:  Glossy Accents
Cricut cartridge:  Cake Basics p.53 cut @ 3 1/4"
Cuttlebug embossing folder:  Polka Dots

Happy Thursday!  Now get your wish list and Shop Pumpkin Spice :)

Shop Pumpkin Spice with love

Hello blog friends!  I am still alive...our move went well last weekend, but I am still swimming in boxes.  I am happy to say that my kitchen is unpacked and organized as well as the master bedroom and bath.  My children are with their grandparents for a few days, so I am painting their bedroom while they are gone.  I hope to paint my craft room next week and then get it unpacked and organized.  I actually made this card before the move.  I hope to be back and blog surfing by the end of April!

Card details:  I love to shop online at Shop Pumpkin Spice.  Right now you can buy the *new* My Mind's Eye collections at Shop Pumpkin Spice...for just $4.19 for a 6x6 pad!  Shipping is super low too.  I buy all my My Pink Stamper stamp sets there also; best prices I have ever found and each set is so versatile.  The metal "mirror" glam rocks and i-rock tool can also be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice.  Even my doily came in the January monthly kit.  The kits are an even better value.   Crazy good.  A friendly reminder:  the April Shop Pumpkin Spice kit will go on sale this weekend.  Come back this Saturday and get one before they are gone.  I promise these are going to sell FAST so don't forget to buy yours on Saturday.  It's yummy :)
