Iris Folding Video Tutorial

Good Morning!  This is my first video EVER.  I received some questions on my iris folding pear card from last week, so I decided to create an iris folding tutorial.  This time I went with a purely Asian theme.  I hope you like it!

Click on this link  for some basic iris folding patterns.  If you haven't made your mother's day cards for the ladies in your life who are moms or like a mom,  I hope you will check out Betty Bee's Buzz for some Mother's Day card inspiration.

I am entering this at Allsorts Challenge blogOriental
Happy Wednesday!

This is really pretty and something new for me. I am not really sure about the size of the strips that you are folding nor the pattern that you made, so I will do some more research and then try this out. Thanks for the video, it makes sense, so maybe on my first try I will be able to produce something. LOL tfs Tami

HAHA! You are hysterical. I love how you talk on tape just like in real life. Some people are stiff and formal. You are NORMAL!

And yeah, the "puffy" thing is what gets me. The center is higher than the edges by the time you're done. That piece of paper on the back is brilliant. I'm going to have to try this again.

THANKS!

You are simply adorable, and this tutorial is perfect, I absolutely love it!! You're a stinkin genius about so many things...the template taped *inside* the bag, not just placed inside the bag!!!!

Everything makes so much sense now! You're being a teacher, given your kind-hearted nature and compassion and astronomically gentle disposition, yep, makes sense! Thank you for such awesome words about my teacher gifts!!! *mwah*

Great video, June! I've never done iris folding, but I now feel like I have a clue! (But I'm still going to make you show me in person!)

Love the worksheet on the back - LOL! My scratch paper drawer is full of quarter sheets of old school papers, too!
